By creating an account, accessing, or using CVKing in any way, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

If you are using CVKing on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

CVKing is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides:

• AI-powered resume building, editing, and optimisation tools
• ATS (Applicant Tracking System) score analysis and improvement suggestions
• Professional resume templates
• PDF and other format exports
• AI-assisted career tools including roadmap generation, cover letter writing, and interview preparation

CVKing is a digital service. No physical products are provided, shipped, or delivered under any plan.

When you create an account with CVKing, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up to date
• Notifying us immediately at support@cvking.app if you suspect unauthorised access

You may not share your account credentials with others or create accounts using automated means.

CVKing offers both a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are described on our Pricing page.

• Payment processing: All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By completing a purchase, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service.
• Billing: Subscription charges are billed in Indian Rupees (INR) at the frequency stated for each plan (monthly, quarterly, or yearly).
• One-time purchases: The “Premium Templates” plan is a one-time payment that grants permanent access to premium templates, with no recurring charge.
• Auto-renewal: Recurring subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Price changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing. We will provide at least 14 days' notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended until the payment is resolved.

Your content is yours. All resume content, personal data, and documents you create on CVKing remain your intellectual property. We claim no ownership over the content you input.

By using CVKing, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence ends when you delete your content or account.

CVKing and its branding, interface design, AI models, templates, and software code are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without written permission.

You agree not to use CVKing to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information in resumes
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the platform
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our software
• Use the service in a manner that interferes with other users or degrades system performance
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Impersonate another person or entity

Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination without refund.

We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. CVKing may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance (notified in advance where possible)
• Unplanned outages or infrastructure issues
• Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control

We do not provide a formal uptime SLA (Service Level Agreement) for any paid plan.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CVKing and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
• The accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI-generated suggestions — all AI output should be reviewed before use
• Outcomes of job applications — CVKing cannot guarantee interview callbacks or employment
• Damages arising from unauthorised access to your account where you failed to maintain reasonable credential security

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of CVKing shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months immediately preceding the claim.

By you: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@cvking.app. Account termination cancels any active subscriptions at the end of the current billing period. Refer to our Refund Policy for refund eligibility.

By CVKing: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk. In such cases, access may be revoked immediately without prior notice or refund.

Upon termination, your resume data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the “Last updated” date on this page
• Notify registered users via email at least 7 days before significant changes take effect

Continued use of CVKing after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with any changes, you should stop using the service and may request account deletion.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the use of CVKing shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@cvking.app to resolve any dispute amicably.
